It might fit, but definitely isn't the same piece because the kits themselves are from different manufacturers.  The Wildcat rear window (clear part) is on the narrow side, not much extra material on the sides, if the Impala window opening is much wider than the Wildcat's then the clear piece won't work.  I wouldn't buy a kit to try it, but if you have a Wildcat or can borrow one then try it.  I doubt it will work though.

Thanks Mark. I'll measure before I pull them out.

Snake. I have a 1967 impala SS convertible but needs work. Mainly just the body. And a 68  Impala with the trailer and a 69 impala Snake. Not the kits but I do have the boxes.  They were built models but they did come apart easily. The 68 and 69 were never painted.

The problem with the '67 or '68 "glass" in a '66 GM body is the difference in the size and shape of the roofs and bodies. Starting with the '67 models from GM sharing the same bodies is that GM enlarged the over all shapes from the '65 and '66 bodies. Then you're dealing with different scales and manufactures. Perhaps making your own "glass" with clear film or plastic might be easier to do.

The closest commonly available might be AMT '67 Impala glass, though your '68 sounds like an MPC.

But as espo said, you might have to resort to making your own, which shouldn't be a HUGE deal, as it's all simple curves (not compound). In fact, the backlight is probably darn close to flat and thus VERY easily replaced with almost any reasonably thin clear plastic.
