randyc Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Here's a nice one. Only thing I was paint the inserts in the wheels with some metallizer steel. From the box it is a weird rust color. I think I accidentally sold the correct up top though. These crown premium cars are really nice. Yes the stripe is a bit off, too. But I think you could take this one too another level work a bit more work. And a set of white letter decals would help too.
Snake45 Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 VERY nice! Gonna have to keep my eyes open for one of those. It is 1/24, right, not 1/18?
Gramps46 Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 I like the 442 convertible. It is much better than the Welly 1968 442 coupe whose wheels look really small.

Yeah, they do, but otherwise that's a pretty sweet cheap diecast. Someday I might swap out the wheels and tires for those from an AMT '69 kit.

I'm debating on keeping it or selling it. I already have the plastic 71 pace car. Not a lot of them on eBay and prices are all over for them. Let me know if you get to jonesing real bad. Lol
kilrathy10 Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 I like it... I like it as a convertible, as well...
randyc Posted January 10, 2020 Author Posted January 10, 2020 I prefer cars with tops, but these look nice.
