I primed and put some spot putty on on the body of this Hasagawa Type 2 67 VW pick up this evening that I started on in April of last year.Because of paint issues,I’ve had to strip it twice.Trying to finish this and another build for a local show coming up in August.

Back on track. Little touch ups needed, enough dash work for today.

Started yet again another old build re-build, my 1966 GTO. About 3 years ago I painted it the thickest brush-on coat of purple ever   applied on a model car (no joke) so just now this morning I disassembled it and sanded the body and hood. Plan is to do a triple black GTO, (gloss black paint, black vinyl top, and interior is already black) offset by a red side stripe.

I got home, and unpacked the truck I am working on, nothing broken from the flight.  Will unpack my goody box I sent home tomorrow as well.

I am hoping to sit sometime tomorrow .. if things go right, I want to get the truck body and bed in primer and tape off things so I can shoot the tan interior then the body blue.

That's fantastic!

I will say this, I normally build American made stuff, but as I see more imports, I am gonna get me some for my stash, such neat kits. And take certain mods better than American stuff.

Thanks man! I have never built any imports before, but I definitely have a few in my stash that I need to build besides this one.I am having fun with it and will definitely build more JDM/Import cars in the future.
