Did some work on the Skyline stuff and some work on the Pontiac which is posted on the Pontiac.

Here's the one bit for the Skyline.

I am not gonna use this color, but it will still be a nice base for what I am using.

John,  this is awesome! That interior is slick! The manifold rusting is spot on.

Thanks man! Interiors are the bane of my model building, I haven't quite figured out all the methods yet. The manifolds are engine color followed by LIGHT dry brushing both cast iron and rust colors. Pretty easy, honestly.

I got color on the Skyline hood, as much as I had thought a contrasting color would be better I am really pleased at how this came out. Tomorrow will be 2nd coat, then 2 coats of clear.

I did some flash trimming on a S-10 I am gonna build for my oldest boy, and did some flash trim on the 57 Chevy for the wife.

Got the 2nd coat of paint on the Skyline hood as well, and interior for the Pontiac painted (Went with something entirely different, that I think will look great for this build.)

I just prepped a bunch of things for paint and touch up painting. Funny how fast an hour goes lol

So tomorrow should be all my painting.

I also got a couple more prep steps on the Pontiac engine done too.  Once things dry then it's primer and paint and detail painting.

Stuff done!

Hudson interior parts primed and 1st coat of paint on.

S-10 has primer for the oldest boy.

57 has the interior roof painted, build for the wife. No pics of that yet lol.

Sneaking up on the final fitment for the headliner. My plan is to use a high tack two sided tape to secure it to the roof, and cover it with an eyeglass polishing cloth. Very tight, thin material. Fingers crossed this works.

First kinda model car work in a while; got this die cast ‘70 Elcamino yesterday but the tires were lookin’ a bit too bland so I applied the Firestone wide oval decals from my ‘71 Olds 442 kit. Looks pretty cool.

My thing now that I have access to a nice and reliable printer is that any time I see something cool that I want. I wanted a cleaning pot for the ole airbrush so I looked online for a file, and sure enough I found one. The unfortunate thing about it is that the threads are not a standard size so I will not be able to use it on a mason jar.20251207_202556.jpg.2f4293126810dcaa020bdb131358eb2f.jpg20251207_202624.jpg.8c74e85341223a443491a27eaf271583.jpg
