I moved onto this kit that I picked up for $4.00 at a close store. I figure for the little I paid I may try to go outside of my comfort zone in color and the flashy alternate “foose upgrades.” I went with a color shifting craft paint. The effect is not really portrayed in the photos as in person but in the light the color shifts from amber-yellow to a lime green. No clear on it yet.97DBF691-0272-4344-AAC0-DE29E5D3FBCE.thumb.jpeg.999304307047a433f1aaa22a646340ac.jpeg7D7C5100-5333-4E33-88A6-615ADFE2E6E0.thumb.jpeg.0afe7d6c2afe04f1e125ebd60395779d.jpeg7D7C5100-5333-4E33-88A6-615ADFE2E6E0.thumb.jpeg.0afe7d6c2afe04f1e125ebd60395779d.jpeg5B4F9AC8-D61F-4328-940D-9D749B76FE2F.thumb.jpeg.0a090ef14a1e5a17cafa228de47bde26.jpeg Well here’s where I’m at for the moment

$4??? That’s free in my book.

Nice start on the Impala. Nice color choice.

It costs me more than that in gas to GET to a local hobby shop!

The paint is actually craft paint from FolkArt. It does a pretty decent job thinned down with washer fluid. I was surprised. I picked up about 40 bottles of different paint as that store is going out of business and some on the paint is as low as 33 cents.
