Jn499 Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 I moved onto this kit that I picked up for $4.00 at a close store. I figure for the little I paid I may try to go outside of my comfort zone in color and the flashy alternate “foose upgrades.” I went with a color shifting craft paint. The effect is not really portrayed in the photos as in person but in the light the color shifts from amber-yellow to a lime green. No clear on it yet. Well here’s where I’m at for the moment
Cool Hand Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Of to a good start. That paint is going to come to life once the clear is applied.
Brutalform Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 $4??? That’s free in my book. Nice start on the Impala. Nice color choice.
espo Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 What brand of color shifting paint did you use ?

Jn499 Posted January 14, 2020 Author Posted January 14, 2020 The paint is actually craft paint from FolkArt. It does a pretty decent job thinned down with washer fluid. I was surprised. I picked up about 40 bottles of different paint as that store is going out of business and some on the paint is as low as 33 cents. here’s where I’m at
