They are no good. Does anyone have a cheat to make them not crooked? I read somewhere a while back to stuff them with cotton balls. I've tried that, and that just makes it so the tire bead won't sit on the rim. Are there any other ideas?

I swapped them out (wheels too) with the Mobius "Big Rig" wheel and tire set.  Much nicer !

This is the way to go I do this too!

The wheels and tires in those Revell Kenworth and Pete kits are horrible!! As said above, swap them with a Moebius wheel and tire set. They’re more accurate, great quality and look so much better!

Theres many other options out there as well, two holes, five holes, spoke wheels etc. a good place to find them is moluminum.com

Thanks for the input. I got the moebius shoes for it. I'll hold on to the snap ones, and may try to work with them in the future.

I don't like the snap wheels at all including the tires, the fronts looks weird and the rear wheels are too shallow to look right.

i used the rear wheels of the tyrone malone hauler on one, they look pretty good, the kit tires are hideous,i even used the front tires on the kit rims, looks good too. harvey

I've found that a person can use the kit wheels with tires from Moluminum.com. Just have to trim off the ridge in the center of the wheel. I toss the kit tires in the trash, and that's saying something, as I rarely throw ANYTHING away.

Why throw them away? They would be great for junk yard dioramas, or push bumpers of wreckers.

LOL, I have plenty of AMT tires for that! I hardly ever use kit tires anymore.
