I have an assembly question for the MPC 1975 Camaro kit. I am planning on building the stock car version and I am missing the instructions. It looks like the chassis has two circular indentations on each side to locate the bottom of the roll cage. The roll cage looks like it will bow out beyond the chassis’s sides. I assume the body sides have to be spread to fit over the cage? I believe the 70-76 Camaro and Firebird kits all have the same basic stock car parts. Does anyone have a copy of any of these instructions showing body assembly to the chassis as the stock car version that they can share?

I have the MPC 76 Camaro still sealed but I can open it up and look at the instructions.  I think the 76 Camaro has the racing version also so the instructions for the 75 and 76 should be about the same.

Yes, you will have to spread the body sides to get it over the roll cage.  These parts originated with the 1973 annual kits, and are in most, if not all, Camaro and Firebird kits (except the Trans-Am with the separate T-roof panels, that's a different kit altogether).
