espo Posted March 4, 2020 Share Posted March 4, 2020 I have an AMT # 31736 of an '88 Mustang GT fastback. This and many others were special issues for Wal Mart. They are easily identified by the dark and light Brown checkered box. I don't recall what all the deal was between AMT and Wal Mart but the kits were identical save the box color and Wal Mart was selling them at a better price point. I was trying to buy all of them I could find. The problem was not all of the reissues were available in each location. I never did find the "67 Impala SS, but I have seen them at Swap Meets so I know they were out there.
