Kararic Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 This is my version of the Fujimi Mark II Grande kit. I had a lot of fun building this kit. The kit is outstanding quality and very detailed. I painted the vehicle in Splash Paints Tor Red . The vehicles suspension was lowered to fit aftermarket Aoshima wheels. I've learned a lot from this build, like how messy Molotow liquid chrome can be. I made a mistake of free handing the window chrome molding when instead I should have masked it off for a cleaner look. The only custom part I did was the license plate. It is my old badge number. Please let me know what you guys think and give me feedback since I'm still new to this hobby and have tons to learn. Sorry about the picture quality. Thank you
stitchdup Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Thats a cool car, I've been trying to think how i want to build my one and I'll definately take inspiration from yours
Kararic Posted April 9, 2020 Author Posted April 9, 2020 Please do. There are many ways you can build this and it would come out cool.
asfastasu Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 (edited) Awesome. Been wanting one of these for a while now, but they go for alot, if you can find one. I`m currently working on the Fujimi Toyota Cresta gx71. I just stripped the first paint job as the two tone didnt work out. Fun fact: this car is also called, wait for it, Toyota Corona.........? Nice build. Edited April 10, 2020 by asfastasu
Draggon Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Very clean work. With the angles you've taken the pics at, you can barely see the chrome problems. I like it ?

Nice build. I was lucky enough to find one at hiroboy.com for a decent price. They are based out of UK but still cheaper then from China. Plese share your photos when you get the Cresta done and I did not know about the Toyota name so thank you.
