Robbo28 Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 (edited) This is my first post. Just joined after looking on the net for some ideas and came across your forum. I purchased the GTO from a hobby shop and old mate said if I choose another id get $5 off. Not that he needed to twist my arm. Hence where the dodge viper V10 engine comes into play (original engine looked to small). After massaging the chassis and not putting the fire wall in the engine bay the V10 slotted in nicely. The bonnet fits on perfectly too. Once painted the model looks a cross between a HQ Holden Monaro and an XB Falcon Coupe here in the land down under. Will be looking at building more models in the future to include trucks as well. Found a half finished truck model that dad had as a kid so tinkered with that today as well. NOBLNG Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 That is sacrilegious putting a Dodge engine in a Pontiac! LOL?. Got any more pics?
espo Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Looks great. Best way to add cu. in. to an engine is to add two more cylinders, right ?
Robbo28 Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 Thanks fellas. I'll have to get some more pictures tonight. It still needs some sort of exhaust off the headers and a tail shaft.
Scott8950 Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 This is definitely different ? but that's the great thing about building models. Nice job.
