AMT 1966 Mercury Cyclone GT...restomod of a 43 year old AMT kit

I used the base engine from an AMT '69 Torino Cobra with heads and exhaust from the AMT '60 Starliner custom. The base of the intake manifold came from the Torino kit but is not identified on the instruction sheet. Then, I modified the Phantom Vicky intake to fit. It clears the hood and the intake will get fed cold air from the hood scoop.

I realize this is a 10-year old post, but I'd like to find the source of these Ford cast iron headers. I checked my kit stash..... 1960 Starliner, 1961, 63, 65, and 66 Galaxies.... and did not find them. Thx!

Awesome !!!!!!  That's just to Cool!! The intake is from the original kit, it was for the Cross Ram style intake, with dual Carbs. That's a cool reuse of old parts!!! Here's a original engine from a 1968 Torino GT fastback. it has the complete intake a carb set up.
