Scaniart Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 so this makes for a good project... Will keep an eye on it, so far so good.
vincen47 Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 Oh this is cool, no pun intended. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone make a 53’ domestic refrigerated container before. I see them all the time going by on the double stack intermodal trains and on the interstates. Excellent idea, and great execution thus far.
Mr mopar Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 (edited) Oh I'm liking this Build ……… Is this the Moebuis smooth side trailer ? Edited June 14, 2020 by Mr mopar
FarmTrucker3406 Posted June 15, 2020 Author Posted June 15, 2020 Yes it started out as a Moebuis smooth side trailer. Shortened the box on the front, added the square tube frame and a new front panel and built a fuel tank. I am reworking an AMT extendable flatbed trailer to an extendable container chassis. It will take 40, 48, and 53' containers when complete.
