Radar43 Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 Hello to all. The last several days I have been looking for a 1/25 scale 1963 Dodge Custom 880 resin body or resin kit. I want to build a David Pearson 1963 Daytona 500 car. Does anyone know of a source of this body style? Thanks You.
gks1964 Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 I can't help you with the body, but that would be sweet to see you build that one!
64Comet404 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 You need the body from a JoHan '62 Chrysler 300, and modify the front clip to match.
ChrisBcritter Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 The front clip may be tough; take a look at a Jo-Han Rambler Marlin as a possible donor to get the more square shape for the top half of the fenders, grille opening, and hood.
Rob Hall Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 (edited) Nothing available in resin for this that I know of, unfortunately. These were good looking cars. Edited August 8, 2020 by Rob Hall

gks1964 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 That's a sweet looking car Howard! Hope you can find what you need!!
mopargreg Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 I would love to build this car. Shame there’s no bodies available for it.
slusher Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 That would be an awesome build if could find a body..
misternemo Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Actually someone did make one. 2007frontier on ebay had one listed awhile back. might want to email him and see if they are still available.pretty sure it was a 4 door body, but gets you closer than none at all.haven't seen one listed in awhile.
Larry Foster Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 2007 frontier had 4 dr sed and wagon of 63 880. You may have to put a 62 Mercury front clip on a 62 300, the Merc front is very close in design to the 880. Check with 2007frontier, they have put a few models back in their line after requests. I would buy both 880 models if they did. Larry Foster
