Revell 69 Chevelle SS 396 in hugger orange

Started today, this is a companion piece for my hugger orange 69 Camaro. Painted Testors hugger orange with wet look clear.

When used on anything other than a Camaro, Chevy called the color "Monaco Orange."

Ponchos were Carousel Red. Get Turned On!

The color on the Chevelle was called Monaco red! Still the same color and hugger orange is what it is mostly known as.

Are you using a recently purchased Wet Look Clear? Someone here said that they've changed the formula, and it's no good now. I think they just screwed up their paint job, and blamed it on the clearcoat. The WLC  I've used has looked great(like yours does).

Wheels are from an AMT 69 Chevelle kit while the tires are a set of AMT RWL F-60 Goodyears. I felt they looked better than the ones that come in the kit.
