Mr mopar Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 with the grill and driving light holes ? who makes them ?
vamach1 Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 (edited) Mini Exotics had a trans kit for the old AMT 68 Shelby to make a 67. It might fit the newer AMT kit but the problem is Gerry sold the photoetch about 30 years ago. That’s the only one I know about. MCG does a set for the 67 stock Mustang GT and the Bullitt Mustang but I have never seen the 67 Shelby set. Edited September 14, 2020 by vamach1

Can-Con Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Model Car Garage used to do a very nice one. it's featured at the top of the home page of their website but strangely, it's been out of production for years. It had 3 grilles, one with the holes at the outer ends, one with them in the center and one with no holes. You might be able to find one on e=bay maybe?? Or possibly try contacting them to see if they still have any or could make up more. I'd like to have one myself. https://www.modelcargarage.com/eshop/pc/home.asp

Weird that somehow I missed that set. I know there was a MCG set for the 69/70 Shelby. I guess I am now on the hunt for a MCG set myself If this unicorn exists. Please let me know if you find any. Thanks. Edited September 14, 2020 by vamach1
Sport Suburban Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Actually MCG announced that set about 4 years ago but it never came out just like the Thunderbird set shown right next to it in the header.
