1973 Full bumper Camaro build.

I'm converting the new AMT full-bumper Camaro to a 1973 car from my youth. It was a 350 2bbl, 4 speed car with added headers. I hope the pictures describe things well. More to come as I get things done.

The front area below the front bumper does not fit well, and takes some work to get it installed. In my opinion, the front and rear areas MUST be attached to the body before paint. I'll figure out how to get the chassis in later.

Looking good so far Tom! I separated the front subframe/engine section and glued it in place after the tub and floorpan were in place.

I also like what you did to the interior. Which year is the promo you took the interior parts of, they seem to suit my bumblebee project quite well

What kit did the grill come from? I love this project and will be following intently! I have a Baldwin Motion 73 in the works.

The promo was from a '73 Camaro (MPC)

So you sourced the insides from something else?

The further I go, the more I find to fix. I'm thinking of going with an original MPC kit and using the new one for detail parts. The MPC kit isn't perfect, but once you fix the headlights, the worst is over.

I also see that the 74 Camaro has the same interior pattern. And I have a couple of those to use on my project.
