iamsuperdan Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Finished this one up over the weekend. There's some underhood detail pieces that have gone missing, they're in a box somewhere, so I'll have to add those in the near future. That'll teach me to organize the bench in the middle of a build. Added the supercharged LSX from Clearly Scale, Recaro seats from Clearly Scale, the front grille and updated dash from a later C3500 kit. Instrument cluster is an image I found online, shrunk, and printed. The seats have seatbelt buckles added. Was going to do something different with the wheels, but I like the stock 454SS wheels too much, so I left them alone. Paint is Duplicolor's GM Pewter Metallic. Interior is Model Master's British Crimson. I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.
kilrathy10 Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 That looks quite nice.... The engine looks very good, despite missing parts... Not even sure what they are... Looks good to me...

espo Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Beautiful looking truck. I enjoyed wathching your build and I like how you mixed parts from other places. Like you I came up short on a few very small parts on the build I just finished. What I found in my case was in the bottom part of the kit box where the flaps fold together very small parts will get trapped in the flaps if they're loose in the box. Might be a place to start looking anyway. I also like the color for the body and the interior dash details .

I know they're in there, because the ziploc bag that I put the parts in is open and empty in one of the boxes!
