junkyardjeff Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 I picked this up along with some other models and parts out of a car in a junkyard north of Richmond Indiana back in the fall of 74,it was built but not painted but was missing the suspension, engine and hood. I cobbled up some suspension and put a engine in it and brush painted it with some 60s Pactra paint that I got from my uncle and probably still have the bottle,a few years ago I picked up a new chassis and interior along with a correct resin hood so the time is right to start on it but need to find the correct engine. It and a few tires are all I have left from what I got back in 74 and can not believe its been 46 years ago since I got it.
junkyardjeff Posted October 30, 2020 Author Posted October 30, 2020 The paint is about off so time to think about what color to paint it.
NOBLNG Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Cool. I like these older Chevelles. I’m watching.?

If you're doing a true restoration, why not do it in the sharp silver and black "Time Machine" scheme? I'm doing one that way. I have a complete set of decals that I've scanned and will be sending to another member to make me a couple sets of copies. If you want, I can ask him to do one for you, too.
junkyardjeff Posted November 5, 2020 Author Posted November 5, 2020 Paint is off,the black spatter on the trunk was on it when I got it in 74
