chepp Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 (edited) I have some 0.040 hex-shaped polystyrene rod -- it scales up to 1". Did you make your own? Here's what I want to replicate. Edit Dec. 1 Edited December 2, 2020 by chepp Better image
Erik Smith Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Yes, they’re pretty easy. Hex rod, round stock and paint.
espo Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I remember someone suggesting that you could create spark plugs in this fashion using round stock. They would glue a section of the round stock in the head much like you would do just using spark plug wires and boots to represent the spark plugs. Then attach the plug wires using the boots. I have tried it a few times and it seems to work well.
chepp Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 Erik, those plugs look really good. I've replaced my original photo with one showing a spark plug and different boots.
