Thank you Tim for your response. 103 did have the Revell 1969 Dodge Dart, and your build was very correct and interesting.

I have all the kits you listed, including the Ramchargers Dart and the Charlie Allen kit.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a kit in my collection!

An interesting aside, I got my Charlie Allen kit from a man who purchased it from Charlie when he raced at Suffolk Raceway in Virginia.

He bought it right out of the race trailer!

He is my most correct Dart build to date.

Good talking with and thank you for your contributions to scale modeling!

Thanks Tim!  The engine came from the AMT '71 Duster 340 kit.   I removed the 4-speed transmission and added the TorqueFlite transmission in its place.

Love the dark green color too. And that's a great looking engine bay! I see that you used different aluminum/silver colors for underbody as well. Great attention to detail ?

agreed. like it a lot!

Question... Is the Revell '69 Dart kit molded in like a tan styrene???...

Yes, the original issue kit was molded in tan-beige color IIRC, essentially the same color as the real car that was photographed for the box art....TIM

Michael....very, very sharp model - and thanks for sharing.  Which kit did you source the 340 from?  If I had bought a real one back then, it would have had a 340 instead of the 383, for sure!  Best....TIM

The engine came from the AMT 1971 Duster 340 kit.  I originally got the 340 for another project, but that was cancelled as I had a change of heart.  Many Dart GTS' came with the 340 engine, so I added that engine to my build.
