ranma Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Charlie pride played minor leage baseball before becoming a country music artist. Captain Spaulding Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Guy was a great singer, my grandparents were both big fans of his and my Grandmother met him in the 70s so I grew up hearing his music. Shame after singing at the CMA's last month he gets and dies from covid, this virus has taken way too many people before their time.
slusher Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 My parents was big fans and remember him well. He always seemed happy. I remember the.old country music awards. God bless him.and his family..
ewetwo Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 When I was young my great aunt and uncle never had a television until I was in my 30's. My aunt thought that Charlie Pride was made to sing behind closed doors because he was black and she thought that was just terrible. She didn't realize that Behind Closed Doors was the name of the song. LOL
