E St. Kruiser50 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 (edited) hi y'all Thought I'd share a "family photo" of some of the stuff I been workin' on for a few years, and hope to finish in the next few years. Someone said the other day, it looked like I pop these out every few days, so now you know my secret LOL. I usually work on about a dozen at a time to keep from getting bored, and then when one get's close enough, I just focus on it till it's done - WORKS FOR ME . Then there's those fun mini-projects like the stock, outta the box Ala Kart (My first stock Outta the box ever), I'm workin' on with Fred Caddy decals ( Is that still stock? ) In my career I was a design engineer, a custom and prototype machinist and a pattern maker, and I discovered after I had retired, and started getting serious about my model building, that I had acquired some new skills and disciplines, like patience , that I could apply to my hobby. What I'm saying is it took me nearly 40 years to learn how to build this stuff Anyhow, I hope you enjoy seeing what may be coming along in the next few years. Thanks for looking . george 53 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Well Dave, it looks like you got enough stuff there to keep us entertained for a while! I like the Limo'd 37(it looks like to me). I personally enjoy it when you go off on your little mind trips and come up with this great stuff! Them trees must really be huggin back! Well go on know an pick one to finish, so we can all see it come to life!
Raul_Perez Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 ...and my friends accuse me of having too many projects started... I'll have to send them a link to this post!! The Caddy and the '37 Limo look pretty cool!! Later,
E St. Kruiser50 Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Went back and dug out this post from last year. Got the Merc in the center done, and am working on the Chezoomed Badzilla behind it, and the Auburn rear right. Thought I did a build-up thread on the Cad on this forum, but may have been on "THE OTHER ONE" LOL.
Foxer Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Ala Cart and a Parnelli Jones racer.... oh my. You get a Stock Outta Box Pass on the Caddy decals, but we'll see. A sneaky row you added in the last pic. I'll be saving my finishes right along with ya so don't hurry.
E St. Kruiser50 Posted May 24, 2009 Author Posted May 24, 2009 i would love to see some pics of the ala kart!

E St. Kruiser50 Posted May 25, 2009 Author Posted May 25, 2009 Dave, what are you doing with the Lightning? Hi Clay The Lightning is a 'Vert now, and will get the top of the windshield frame chopped off along with the glass. The bed will get the Chevy SSR treatment using the cover. The rear wheel wells will get "Tubbed" for some "massive meats", and the interior will get the "Full Monty" - LOL This is a "Down the Road" project, so nothing coming anytime soon -
E St. Kruiser50 Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) Got a few other things I thought I'd add to the list. Got a couple other's besides, but will add those later. Enjoy...... Edited May 30, 2009 by Treehugger Dave

FordRodnKustom Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Some real cool and unique builds you have going on there. I especially like the Lincoln Cosmo.
cruz Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Lots of great ideas my friend, looks like you have your hands full. I can't work on more than 1 thing at the same time, I start a project and it will get done, that's my policy... If not, it will not get done.
E St. Kruiser50 Posted June 4, 2009 Author Posted June 4, 2009 WHAT, NO BUGATTI...........? Sorry couldn't help myself, Hizoot Hi ZOOT OK, a Bugatti Street Rod just for you
E St. Kruiser50 Posted July 2, 2009 Author Posted July 2, 2009 Thought I'd add this to the list of projects, as I've been asked about it several times. I started this in the late 80's as a "Pro-stock Limo", but it got lost in the shuffle, and not long ago my oldest son found it. So maybe one of these days....... . We'll see - dave

We'll see - dave I love the sculpting on the body sides. The flow from the running boards through the front fender is a fantastic line too! I'd mention the rear fender, but it looks like this is where you left off last time on this..
