hi y'all

Thought I'd share a "family photo" of some of the stuff I been workin' on for a few years, and hope to finish in the next few years.

Someone said the other day, it looked like I pop these out every few days, so now you know my secret  LOL. I usually work on about a dozen at a time to keep from getting bored, and then when one get's close enough, I just focus on it till it's done - WORKS FOR ME  .

Then there's those fun mini-projects like the stock, outta the box Ala Kart (My first stock Outta the box ever), I'm workin' on with Fred Caddy decals ( Is that still stock? :P )

In my career I was a design engineer, a custom and prototype machinist and a pattern maker, and I discovered after I had retired, and started getting serious about my model building, that I had acquired some new skills and disciplines, like patience :P , that I could apply to my hobby.

What I'm saying is it took me nearly 40 years to learn how to build this stuff :lol::lol:

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy seeing what may be coming along in the next few years.

Thanks for looking :D .

Went back and dug out this post from last year.

Got the Merc in the center done, and am working on the Chezoomed Badzilla behind it, and the Auburn rear right.

Thought I did a build-up thread on the Cad on this forum, but may have been on "THE OTHER ONE" :D LOL.

Ala Cart and a Parnelli Jones racer.... oh my.;) You get a Stock Outta Box Pass on the Caddy decals, but we'll see.

A sneaky row you added in the last pic.

I'll be saving my finishes right along with ya so don't hurry. :)

Dave, what are you doing with the Lightning?

Hi Clay B)

The Lightning is a 'Vert now, and will get the top of the windshield frame chopped off along with the glass.

The bed will get the Chevy SSR treatment using the cover.

The rear wheel wells will get "Tubbed" for some "massive meats", and the interior will get the "Full Monty" - LOL

This is a "Down the Road" project, so nothing coming anytime soon ;) -

I've just been over hugged with all these pics and can't decide WHAT I should comment on ... but that Caddy has been SO chopped, yet it looks right!

You got it B) .

Low and slinky with a Scudera kinda look - a Ferrari truck - we'll see :lol::lol: .

Might be kind KOOOOL ;) with a Testarossa (Red Head) under the hood, and some independants front and rear.

How about some "Prancing Horse Badging" and a red vehicle that "REALLY HAULS" .

I can just hear the "PURISTS" screaming now........................NNNOOOOOOOOO !!! - LOL

Lots of great ideas my friend, looks like you have your hands full. I can't work on more than 1 thing at the same time, I start a project and it will get done, that's my policy...;) If not, it will not get done. ;)

Thought I'd add this to the list of projects, as I've been asked about it several times.

I started this in the late 80's as a "Pro-stock Limo", but it got lost in the shuffle, and not long ago my oldest son found it.

So maybe one of these days....... .

We'll see - dave ;)

I love the sculpting on the body sides. The flow from the running boards through the front fender is a fantastic line too! I'd mention the rear fender, but it looks like this is where you left off last time on this..:lol:
