Venom Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Where do you get the hollow transparent plumbing line and other different diameter hoses and such for 1/24 scale engine detail? But most specifically the clear hollow line???
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Depending on what scale you're working in, clear fishing line works very well. The red stuff works for old-school red neoprene fuel line too. It comes in lotsa diameters, but it's generally only really appropriate for 1/24/ -1/25 etc.
70mach1 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Josh, Google "hairline tubing" this stuff is used for fly tying
espo Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 I would echo Bill's suggestion. I often build '50's type cars and use Fishing line often. I use .018 / .457 mm line for fuel block to carburetors. I have used both red and white and most outfitters have many colors to select from. Very inexpensive and 500 to 650 yards will last you a life time.
