While we're at it, can anyone tell us what the base color of Roth's Beatnik Bandit is ?

Beatnik Bandit is pearl also, but in photos with the original paint it does somehow seem darker than the Excaliber/Outlaw.  Maybe more pearl, or more clear, or the clear yellowed just a bit?

I wonder if it could be an optical illusion based on the dark bronze color that tops it, or there was a mist of the bronze over everything prior to shading. It always blows my mind at how little interest a lot of these builders seemed to have in their cars after they moved on to whatever was next.
