Pete L. Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) While we're at it, can anyone tell us what the base color of Roth's Beatnik Bandit is ? Edited January 28, 2021 by Pete L.
Mark Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Beatnik Bandit is pearl also, but in photos with the original paint it does somehow seem darker than the Excaliber/Outlaw. Maybe more pearl, or more clear, or the clear yellowed just a bit?
Modelbuilder Mark Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 (edited) I wonder if it could be an optical illusion based on the dark bronze color that tops it, or there was a mist of the bronze over everything prior to shading. It always blows my mind at how little interest a lot of these builders seemed to have in their cars after they moved on to whatever was next. " In 1970 Ed sold the car to Jim Brucker for $50.
