Great to hear from you through "da man" I forgot you guys are in the same neck of the woods now Enjoying the retired life I hope! You will have to ask Mr. Bob about the rims. He should pop by here soon, I hope Still trying to get a few kinks out and should be ready for a great year.

Keith Lusty Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 the rims lokk like the one they use at the drag strip, theyre cool Hey Greg love the look of your nova! I just started doing mine and was wondering where you got the 427 hood from. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
cruz Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Looks like a winner already with them rims!!!!! Nice stance too!!!
BigGary Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 I was puzzled by the title of this post until I remembered the letter from "Alan" in the Oct. 08 "Gregg's mailbox". Though he starts with "all due respect", that's about all the respect you get. This guys Mama should have slapped him around a little more and given him some manners. I've haven't bought the Nova kit because I tend to be Mopar fixated, but I'll be interested to read many reviews and posts about this kit before I build one. I've seen a lot of negatives about the AMT '69 Nova, so we'll see what the consensus is on the Revell version as time goes by. I'm looking forward to seeing the finish on this build and your comments, fixes, etc. Gary

Lyle Willits Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Uh,,,,,,what ever happened to the two-toned '49 Merc wagon?
Harry P. Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 So that's what you do with the storyboards... cover your workbench???!!! Hey, at least you don't wrap fish in them... BTW... those are some majorly cool wheels.
Gregg Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 I work on the computer bench, :-) I will finish the Wagon, for NNL West and East. Have to repaint bottom of wagon
62SS Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 The stance is perfect and those wheels ROCK!!! Cant wait to see this one "Under Glass" Ed
LoneWolf15 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I work on the computer bench, :-) I will finish the Wagon, for NNL West and East. Have to repaint bottom of wagon Greg, I'll make you a deal. Send the wagon bottom to me , I'll paint it for you. This will give you more time to fight through the spiders and all that webbing on your work bench so you have room to work on the Nova .By the time you get finished with that , your wagon body will be painted , flashed out , wrapped up , and on it's way back to you . I'll even pay for the shipping because that exterminator bill is going to be a killer ! Did'nt you mention the '90's ? Was that like, the 1890's when you last put a finished product on the table ? Just curious . Inquiring minds would like to know ! Donn Yost
Tom Kren Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 HEY THATS NOT FAIR BUT IF YA WANT I CAN SEND SOME BODYS TO YA LOL
LoneWolf15 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 HEY THATS NOT FAIR BUT IF YA WANT I CAN SEND SOME BODYS TO YA LOL Oh what a can of worms that would turn into ! Buy the dvd and paint your own , Troublemaker ! The Old MAN
Gregg Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 If I did that, I would not be able to enter it in any show, anywhere. Unless I was dishonest, deceitful, morally corrupt, etc, etc, etc... If it was going on my shelf, I would send it in a heartbeat. But my peoples want to see what I can build, right?
