decals over wax

Can decals be applied on top of a polished wax surface?

it could be done but adhesion of the decal could be an issue. I always  wipe the area with a wax remover first to be on the save side.

I wouldn't.

I prefer to apply the decals before clear coating. This will protect the decals as well. Then just wax away.
