Signature blocks

I know this is likely to create a firestorm, but I am going to make a request to a number of posters. Can we please reduce the size of our signature blocks? They are a bit like snow. The first time they are interesting and fun to look at. The second time they are OK. By the end of winter, snow is no longer a thing of beauty. By the 30th time huge signature blocks are a significant annoyance. Having to scroll though a post that takes up 3/4 of a page to read one line is a bit much. Rather a bit like graffiti. I make this as a request of civility. This board has enough posts to go through without making them unnecessarily longer. Thank you.

I use Adblock addon in firefox..ive blocked every single signature picture just for the reason of annoyance

Thanks for reminding me... I kept meaning to remove a few after the F1 season was over and forgot.

I try to refresh them once in a while.

I've been thinking about writing the same ganeral idea Pete brought up. Some of you have really gotten carried away. Can we cut it down to one picture or less?

I try to keep my sig pics limited to one and at a size that doesn't take up a ton of space. I could probably remove the banner in my sig if it's bothersome to those who have limited access and such to make it easier for everyone...

I try to keep at least 2 pictures at a small scale of my kids, I change them as they grow. But I agree about the ones that are longer than the topic itself.
