HobbyNutModels Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Hello everyone, I am wanting to build my old car as a 1/25 th scale replica. I have the Revell Kit I need, but I can’t find the wheels and I need a lead on where to look, what kits might have had these wheels. The wheels were 94-2000 series Mustang bullitt style, 17x8 front and 17x10 rears. We’re there any kits done that had wheels like these I can use as a donor?
Casey Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 (edited) Any mass retail store which carries 1/24 scale Jada die cast models will have at least one with those wheels. They are incredibly common and probably the most common "aftermarket" style wheel I have seen. Revell did release a 2008 Mustang Bullitt edition kit, but the spokes are a bit fuller and thicker, so not quite a match for yours. Pegasus released wheels just like that several years ago, but they were 19" and 21" if I remember correctly, so, again, too large for your project: Edited March 4, 2021 by Casey
Snake45 Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Those wheels are in some versions of the Revell '63 Corvette roadster snapper. The tires that come with it aren't very wide, though.
Can-Con Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 (edited) Would the wheels from this kit be close? Or maybe this? Edited March 4, 2021 by Can-Con
