Nick F40 Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 (edited) Wow, the new meaning of sports car? This might take the S2000, off the throne. It weighs less, smaller, cheaper, and only 1.2 seconds slower in 0-60 than the R35 I personally like it, it has the 240Z look and all they really did was put notches in the lights and hey, it's blue! http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/coupes...test/index.html Edited November 28, 2008 by Nick F40
Zoom Zoom Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I love it. There are a lot of boring folks out there that hate it Sports cars should have character and not be boring. Can't wait to see it in person. Shorter, lighter, much improved interior, and 320 HP...what's not to love?

I had a 350Z as a rental in LA a couple of years ago, a lot of fun to drive. My sister is a long time Z fan, owned 4 of 'em ('78, 82, 85, 90) before moving on to a SAAB, then an Acura, then to Mercedes-Benzes. When I was a kid, I built the AMT 280ZX kit to match the '82 she had at the time. I wonder who will kit it---Fujimi or Tamiya or both? Edited November 29, 2008 by Rob Hall
Aaronw Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 It does look a little more like the original 240Z, but a bit bubble like. Its not a bad looking car though. I'd like to see them give the Z a full retro treatment, I'd like to see Jaguar do the same with the E-type. I like the long nosed look of those two, that style just seemed to say its all about the motor.
Harry P. Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 It looks a little more like the 280Z...which is good! I think the arrow-shaped lights are kinda cool. Different, not just the usual expected stuff. http://www.motorauthority.com/gallery/2009...n-370z-002.html
Nick F40 Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 Oh yes Aaron, especially if that E Type has the V12 I love it. There are a lot of boring folks out there that hate it Sports cars should have character and not be boring. Can't wait to see it in person. Shorter, lighter, much improved interior, and 320 HP...what's not to love? Wow, that is exactly what i'm saying It looks a little more like the 280Z...which is good! Different, not just the usual expected stuff. http://www.motorauthority.com/gallery/2009...n-370z-002.html Which is why I like it, not the same stuff, neat design cues and all I know is it has the rear shape
