DavidChampagne Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 (edited) I have a couple of dual action airbrushes, but the more I use my Paasche single action, the more I like it. I like to tear it down after each use for cleaning. However, I kept dropping the small allen set screw that holds the needle assembly in place. I have replaced it with a longer allen screw the same size. It is easily loosened and tightened with my fingers so I don't have to dig out the wrench each time and if I drop it, it is much easier to find. I also have several, just in case. You would be surprised the difference it makes. Clean up is fast and easy now. Give it a try. Edited March 11, 2021 by DavidChampagne correction
NOBLNG Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 (edited) That is really my only complaint about the Paasche H. I replaced my set screw with a short robertson machine screw and keep a stubby screwdriver in my paint booth. I just flush the nozzle with the appropriate thinner from a squeeze bottle between colors. If I am done for a while I drop the needle and nozzle in a small jar of lacquer thinner till the next session. Edited March 11, 2021 by NOBLNG
