C1 resin trans kit but I didn't us the interior as it left no room for an engine. Since its a van I used a late model aircooled engine from the t3 bus so its double the usual horsepower for a beetle and a lower engine so the floor isn't too high. Speaking of the floor it a very heavily modifed one from the t3 camper so i could use the engine bay. I've also modifed a set of 70s beetle bumpers to look like early golf gti bumpers. I'm not sure what the wheels are from but they are heavily modified at the rear for maximum dish. Its also slammed but I'm sure you expected that, lol. So thats the 5th vw project i have on the go just now and i think I've managed to keep them all different enough to keep them interesting

I painted the van this morning. Right up until I picked up the can it was going to be white or black but for some unknown reason I knowingly picked up the gold pearl instead followed by hok brandywine. I guess this means the interior is going to be tan leather with a matching dash (onlt because I forgot to paint it and matching the body will be near impossible now. Not easy to get a good pic of the colour but it closer to the dark pic where you can see my attempts to block the flash after i gave up trying to figure out my camera, lol. I'm going to let it sit for a couple of days before I clear it but I hope to get a decent shine out of the can
