I have no idea which category this belong, so I posted it, in this forum, as I thought it has more to do with a diorama detail; than anything else. Please feel free to move it, if it doesn't fit the criteria.

This is another weathering test subject. This time a simple hydraulic jack. What do you guys think?

What I used to weather:

Tamiya Black Panel Line solution
Tamiya Brown Panel Line solution
Mig Black and Light Rust pigments
Another odd brand Buff/earth pigment I got from a arts and craft hobby store.
An old Mig oil/grease solution.
Then topped it off with a dull spray coat from Winsor & Newton

where did you source the decal?

I just took one that looked the part from a collection of decals I had collected over the years. It's a scale 1/24 decal.

Thanks. I'm assuming this was a jack found as part of a kit. Or was it scratch built?

It was taken from an Italeri accessories set. It's 1/24.
