Wow, that's really nice, one of the best builds of this kit I've seen!

I've always loved the yellow altered rendition on the original IMC box, but the assembled kit never seemed to match the drawing.

It always looked kind of awkward to me.

I've got a Union reissue I plan to do that box art car with.

Beautiful build Lee, great match to your previous Anglia! Your skill with the airbrush is quite amazing especially when the Anglia was your first job, is the VW your second? You have achieved a great looking model on what is a rather fiddly IMC kit, congrats.

Thanks Scott. This is the boxing from the 80's I found the front end fiddly and had to relocate the rear axle so the wheels fit in the centre of the arches

Thanks Mischa, yes it's my second attempt at airbrushing I'm still learning the best way of doing it but I'm getting there.

Gorgeous paint work, though I wish you would have covered the inside of the body shell with paint, too. Easily the nicest build of this kit I have seen.

It's painted pearl white inside
