My dad was born in 39 and my mom in 40 so they would have been very young then, almost makes you feel like your there..... Thanks for sharing...

The user of this video has lots of others as well. I watched a few of them. There eas one in nj in the 1920s. You see people walking across the streets in front of cars and almost getting hit by the cars. Its just like today...

Almost looked like a third world country, watching that old Plymouth (I think) just pull out and almost hit the main car Chevy and then couldn't even stay in his own lane, he was all over the road! I thought for sure he was going to crash into something.

People walking all over a busy street, standing in the middle, cars and motorcycles passing anywhere they felt like

Sure looks like Central Ave. in St. Petersburg, FL. Some of the buildings are still there, but the trolley tracks have been paved over for years.

I really want to buy a car from the 40s. I even found a few that i could afford. the problem is i would need to sell my current car to get it, and my wife wont let me do it. I rarely drive anymore, maybe 1 time per week to the store and back. Maybe 5 or 10 minute drive.

So i pay my monthly payments on my 2 year old car that i barely drive.

Whats worse, last month carvana offered me 3000 more than i paid for it new. I checked yesterday and now its only 1000 more than i paid.

I know my wife is right that an 80 year old car isn't smart, but with my current situation, this would be the best time to do it
