Fifer Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 I have been working on this for some time and seems to be coming along well. Mike
Stevens19 Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Looks good, I really like this kit, it went together really well when I built mine.

majel Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 I agree with Steven, like all Tamiya models this one goes together real well with no fitment issues. Yours is coming together really nice.

4mula1fan Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Looks great! It's a good kit to pick the details out. I built one years ago and have one in my stash.

4mula1fan Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Are they the transfer type? It's been so long, I can't remember. They are a pain.

4mula1fan Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Seems like I did cut the paper very close to the letters and positioned them carefully on the tires. Like I said, a real pain.

Mike If they are wrong side out they are probably transfers. I've had several old kits with these and once they dry out they don't seem to want to stick anymore. I usually end up using regular decals from the stash.

That was likely the case but I found no instructions on using them. I have always used IndyCals but the Michelin is not available. Thanks , Mike
Keavdog Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Coming along nicely. One of my favorite car models - like others here, I too have built this one way back. Beautiful car as well.
