That looks great as a 2 door! Chrysler missed a golden opportunity for that.

I heard that the basic structure came from the old Mercedes 190E (when they were owned by Mercedes). They never had a 2 door, so that would explain why this one didn't either.

The final result doesn't disappoint Steve your Chrysler 300 is absolutely bitchin... Dave Kindig out of this body!!!!!!

Simple and sophisticated at the same time, its threatening look will leave no one indifferent, especially not the police forces on this side of the border... ?

My only disappointment is that you won't be able to drive all the way to Quebec to show it to us in person, the state of the road won't allow you to.  The countless cracks and potholes would be unforgiving on this wonderful body work! ?

Hello Francis!  Cracks, potholes, and entire sections of highways washed out!! When I come and visit you and Claude, I’ll bring my truck with the models carefully stored, all my builds are “trailer queens” ?? Thanks for having a look my friend. I’ll have to check back in on the great fuel cell debate on your Dodge.

Cheers, Steve

Followed your build, and seeing it finished and looking this good has to be rewarding. I like how you made into a coupe body style and the changes to the front end look great.

Hi David, thanks for the kind words. As I’ve said before, always appreciate your input on the WIP’s, not just mine, but I see your input on others’ builds as well. Your comments always seem informed and thought out to me.

Was cool seeing your idea evolve in the build thread, can only repeat what many have already said "sinister" really like the murdered style.

Paint looks spot on like the inspiration.

Well done Steve.

Hi Luke, your words mean a lot here mate, as I know you have similar taste. I look forward to when you are back at the bench building, you are a very talented builder. Also hoping to see a whip of your 300 idea!

Cheers, Steve

Thanks for the kind words Patrick. As the build progressed, I got really used to the 2 door look, a huge improvement in my eyes. I think Chrysler could have sold lots of them. The Mercedes connection makes sense, thanks for sharing that.
