I use HQT Tools stainless scribers and saws. Both have a .3mm kerf and you can get right to where the parts are joined to separate them without damaging the body and only minimal cleanup up the area required. Far better than using the back of a #11 blade.

Oh man, hoping not to have to cut the parts off. Will check out the saws tho.

Did a quick google search, I don't see them sold by any USA company.

If you use the scribers, no cutting involved. Wait until you get then and don't be hasty to remove the parts using other methods which might cause damage.

UMM-USA carries them. They're out of stock at the moment. You can contact the owner, John Vojtech, via the "Contact Us" page and ask him when will the items be restocked. Mr. Vojtech is a very personable and knowledgeable toolmaker/master modeler.

Tamiya makes similar saws. These measure .006”. What parts are you trying to remove? If it’s a hood scoop, or side scoops,you could maybe fill them with water and put it in the freezer?
