1959scudetto Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 Nice model of this iconic Italian classic: issued 2010 in the "Alfa Romeo Centenary" series in Italy (made by Ixo). As I have 4 or 5 of these, I turned one into a typical '50's racer. First the stock version: Turning this into a typical 50's race participant, is a very easy task: 1. remove the bumpers - 2. remove the hubcaps (as this is not possible here - wheels are cast in one piece) - I swapped wheels with those of a Protar Giulietta kit - 3. apply some decals from the spares - 4. ready to race !
keyser Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 Such pretty cars. Nice models. Nice work. need 1:1 in grey and a 2.0 stroker. It and 26R work make me a very winning vintage and tour team.
Gramps46 Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Really like what you did with this Alfa. I might have to add one to my wish list. Leo/White Box?

Thanks, Gary - this is the Leo models/Alfa Romeo Centenary version (in blister package) - I have also one of the Hachette "Auto Vintage collection" series (red, in a sturdy plexiglass box) - both from Italy.
