Hans1971 Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 I build this kit in the early nineties. It was about the last car I made before adultry began...? This is the car that won the 1955 Mille Miglia race, driven by Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson. Revell 1/24, the silver bodywork was painted with Tamiya spray can. Looking back, quite some things have been done rather clumsy ; seat decals, glue etc... But we still didn't have internet and modeller forums those days. Today, I should also have wheathered the engine and the underside.
Hans1971 Posted December 10, 2021 Author Posted December 10, 2021 And now I see I put it into the wrong section ; should be in 'Racing cars' of course...?
89AKurt Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Funny, I was just looking at those kits on eBay, for ridiculous money. Thank you for posting, the best part is you finished it!

Rich Chernosky Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Nice build Hans..it has stood the test of time. This kit brings back some fond memories....it was my 300th completion. Thanks for sharing.
