TODAY....I polished out the upper body and tried some home-grown decals. I also cleared the nose; gotta give that a day or two before wet-sand. While mocking up I discovered some fit issues that weren't there before ?. Anyway, I screwed up a couple of my decals by trying to cut them too close...sometimes it may be better to leave a little extra unprinted film.... another do-over on the way. ? Thanks for looking ?

The Wild Kinky Six went into a box today. It may surface at some time in the uncertain future but for now, the photo above will be what will suffice for the finished build, the "under glass" shot. I broke it's nose and the time to put it right would interfere with getting the Riv painted before Mother Nature makes it impossible.  Once the dreaded pollen starts turning everything green, finish painting is out.. and I'm pretty much screwed till July. ?

I dunno, doesn't seem like a deal breaker to me. Probably just a case of needing to step away for a while. When you come back later these boulders of set backs and grief will seem like pebbles and you'll have a better view of how close you are to buttoning it up. It ain't over till the kinky six sings.

I'm just happy I didn't waste another sheet of decal paper before I broke the nose. It will probably sit in that box till I need those bomber seats and then the fate of the Wild Kinky Six will be sealed ?

Her "sister" would have been featured on the trunk lid. I was looking forward to that. Come to think of it, I spend way too much time trying to make decals ?.
