Monogram Hangman Tow Truck.

I'm not sure if it's due to the Politically Correct climate these days or a lack of demand for it but it's been decades since the Monogram Hangman Tow Truck was around unlike other 1/25 scale cars that were reissued. I'd like see it again and I'm wondering if it was among the tooling that Atlantis bought from the new owners of Revell back in 2018.

It was re-issued in 1996 as part of the SSP. I think it goes without saying anything with a noose, and especially a model kit, is a terrible idea, simply from a humanity standpoint.

If Atlantis does have the moulds perhaps they can rename the kit and just make it into a showrod tow truck (without the noose).

Wow, I just saw what these are going for on eBay…I was considering picking another one up rather than wait until next time I can get to my self store unit (an 11 hour drive away ?), but the cheapest one is a hundred bucks!

Hangman was converted from the earlier Tom Daniel Dragon Wagon.  That has since been reissued (with a name change to "Circus Wagon").  At the time, everyone connected with Revell-Monogram said that the Hangman was converted back, as opposed to them doing an entirely new Dragon/Circus Wagon.  If that's the case, the Hangman likely won't be back.
