Snake45 Posted January 1, 2022 Posted January 1, 2022 I bought a nice built-up (relatively) late model Mustang at the local toy show. It's come up the rotation for some minor Snake-Fu (won't need much, it's really pretty well done). My question is, what year is it? Did some net research and found out Revell did both 2005 and 2006 Mustang GTs and it seems to be one of them by the grille, wheels, etc. Looking at box art and builtups on the net, I can't see any difference between the 05 and the 06. Is there any? If so, what?
slusher Posted January 1, 2022 Posted January 1, 2022 (edited) I have built an 06 but I have never seen an 05 kit. The 06 kit was really popular..I was looking I didn’t find any Revell 05 kits. I think there was only 06 kits by Revell.. Edited January 1, 2022 by slusher Add to it 1

Snake45 Posted January 2, 2022 Author Posted January 2, 2022 Huh. I guess this doesn't exist, then. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-07355-ford-mustang-gt-2005--104444 Sounds like the 2006 kit was more common, at least in the US, so I'll assume that's what it is. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the replies. Never seen that kitt before. The 06 kit is all I remember being on shelves of hobby lobby and eBay and a hobby shop I visited in east Tn. There can’t be much difference…
deuces wild Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Yep, it's the '06... I picked one up when they first came out...
