The German Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) Hello again! Finally it is ready, the Bburago 300SL ... Many thanks to my namesake Uwe (a friend) for this great model! Merci !!! The construction went almost smoothly (... only a few parts) even if the plan and the decals were missing. But the max nothing, I made it anyway! The body was originally painted cream white, but I didn't like it that much. After a "Dowanol" bath that was done. Now it is anthracite metallic. It was painted with Multona 0813. Newly primed and then three light coats of paint. Then varnished three more times. Now I like it ... Unfortunately, the wheels have no caps (lock nuts), they were missing. I also had to take the front indicators out of the grabber box. The speedometer was left over from the Büssing and fitted exactly on the dashboard. The interior was designed in sand color. Goes well with it, I think. Slobbered enough. ... Here are the pictures: Edited January 10, 2022 by The German Correction
espo Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Beautiful looking Mercedes. The pictures almost give it a ting of brown to the color. I have seen this very dark gray color before and have always liked it. The interior with the luggage is nicely done. 1
