Hey has anybody here ever bought anything from www.hiroboy.com ? I was interested in purchasing some of the 1/24 carbon fiber/kevlar decal sheets and some other detailing accessories. So if anybody has some reviews of purchases made at this site, that would be great. Thanks.

The guy who runs Hiroboy is usually on here, I haven't ordered anything from him yet but I plan on getting some Zero paints there. He's out of the UK so shipping might take awhile.

Hiroboy is a excellent company. You'll have no problem doing business with them. The only thing I'll say is a lot of the products you can get through other sites with less expensive shipping.

I haven't bought from him, but he has plenty of happy customers.

A few people have had shipping problems (outside of the UK and US) and he's apparently not good at communicating via email even when people have had problems, but apparently he does pick up the phone.

If you need paints, you might as easily contact Scalefinishes here on the board, he'll mix up nearly any color and already has many of the colors offered by Hiroboy.

Make sure the check with Strada Sports here in the US; they're in Missouri and have free shipping deals and carry a lot of detailing items that overseas websites like Hiroboy carry.

Several members from another board I'm on all the time have purchased from them and I have heard nothing but great things about the company and there service,I personally have not but I take what these guys say as 100% truth.

Used them in the last year. Nothing but good things to say about the experience. They often cary things I have never seen here in the States. 2 big thumbs up.

I've used him about a handful of times and have nothing but good things to say about his service. I did receive one package that when opened was Bad Boy yellow on the inside. I took a picture and sent it to him and received all new items within the week. So yes, good service, but as Bob mentioned you can look a little harder and find stuff here in the US with cheaper shipping.

But I do echo Bob's sentiments with Scalefinishes as well as Strada. Both offer just as great service here in the US.
