jw78z28
Does anyone know why meng won’t reissue the f350 kit
peteski
Good question. Probably for the same (unknown to modelers) reasons all the other plastic model kit companies do not reissue kits, even if many modelers are pining for them. Jordan White
I personally think the auto kits didn't sell as well as they had hoped, hence why we haven't had a new kit announced since the Jeep Wrangler.
Plowboy
I think the problem with Meng kits is they're overpriced and not done very well. The F-350's are commanding prices on ebay that rival the old annual kits. The last one I had on watch brought $189.00 plus shipping and it was opened. Erik Smith
Most likely explanation? Meng doesn’t think it can make enough money.

Not done very well, disagree. I bought all three kits at their respective releases and while the prices were on the higher end for a 1/24 passenger vehicle kit, I would say overall that the price matched the content quality. I know that Meng had some discrepancies with the actual vehicles they were based on, but nothing that couldn't be easily corrected. I just wish they had continued making kits in this product line, since they were making kits that no one else had made yet.

For the cost, I expected much better than what I got.
Justin Porter
1/24th scale auto isn't nearly as lucrative as 1/35th scale armor which is Meng's primary focus. That said, their GT40 has been a good seller for my shop.
