This is box stock revell.except the rear wheels are from polar lights.the paint color is tamyia clear red over a white base coat.

Yea that paint did that long after I applied the decals as it cured.the thing I can think of is that the base color is a different brand of paint. Thanks for the nice complement.

That's one bad looking drag car.  I always liked the Chi-town Hustler.  That color looks pretty darn good.  Just the overall build looks really nice.

I think tamyia paint is a lacquer
