So I am just going to state the facts, 1:24 vs 1:25 for a whole engine with a transmission is usually a difference of 2mm in length total and a width of 0.7-1mm depending on the style like OHV vs Push Rod. I find it very hard to believe that 2mm the width of a pencil lead over the whole length of a powertrain is what is making it look out of proportion.

Got cha.   I've been wanting to get an engine from you because they look so perfect.

I just received the turbo VW motor in the mail today. It is incredible. The fit of the parts is great, they were really detailed especially the cylinder fins.
There was an email verifying my order, one for it being shipped, one for "out for delivery" and one last email verifying it was delivered. Automated I'm sure, but not a lot of companies follow through like this, especially with the aftermarket suppliers. I had posted a while back about Charles doing some "On demand" printing for me. I'm not sure of this process as his business seems to have taken off, but it might be something to consider if you're looking for a "one off" item. He patiently worked with the files I provided, gave me a price upfront and stuck with it, and maximized the layout to assure me the most items for my money. This was based on how he took the time to lay them out on the printing surface, and instead of just throwing out some random number he worked to print as many as would work reasonably.

If you are on the fence about making any purchases from Texas 3D Customs, do it with confidence and the knowledge you won't be waiting months to receive your items and they will be worth the price. The free shipping that came with my order was a bonus also. You won't meet a nicer guy, and he is good at his craft.

I'm just giving a quick shout out here to Charles at 3D Customs after receiving my first order from him yesterday. Communication was excellent and my order was shipped with tracking within a week.

The quality of everything in my order  is excellent with everything printed so crisp it makes injection moulding look very ordinary.

It is a revelation to me to see how far 3D printing has now advanced.

I just received my order. I can not express enough how blown away I am from the quality of these parts. I have ordered numerous 3d printed parts from pretty much all the usual suspects on both fleabay and shapeways. Nothing compares to the fit and finish of this stuff. Pictures coming up.

P.S. Now if we can just get some proper '32 Ford IFS and quickchange IRS suspensions (a la Kugel, Boyd, Foose etc..) I would be in seventh heaven.

Thanks for the positive feedback I will say I don't like to do chassis specific parts kind of pigeonholing a product that's why I've kind of focused on engines and wheels a little bit kind of expanding on that but yeah don't like pigeonhole products but again I did do the Baja bug

I hear you and understand very well what you are saying. However, a well done Kugel type IRS with a generic top crossmember mount can be used on anything from a Model T to a ‘59 Caddy.
And an IFS, like the one in the Buttera T if designed properly - in other words like the 1:1 with just sections of the frame, can go on any fenderless rod. Perhaps we can maybe talk about privately and come up with something.

This sounds good... a definitely would have multiple applications.
