Hi Rich!

Great work, bravo!

I always felt that this 61 olds rear end, if it were to be mashed with the 61 Buick Invicta front fenders and grille, would make for the ultimate early 60's GM "space age" school of design. Each of those kits is hard to come by, so I can only dream of finding both and proceed with this mash-up.

Someday, who knows?

Thanks Claude. If you ever do build it I'd like to see the results.  -Rich

Very nice model. I like the color combination too.  Hard to believe that it was crushed so badly.  What brand/type of metal foil did you use  on it?

Thanks Peter, I'm amazed my6self that it turned out so well. I wouldn't have waited 25 years If I had known how it would  turn out.

I used bare Metal Foil but it's older stuff.  -Rich

Thanks Rich. For some reason to me the foil looks shinier/brighter than chrome BMF foil.  Good job on the foiling!

Thanks, Peter. It could be the ultra bright chrome as I may have mixed up the packages the foil came in.

Ok, thanks.  If it was the Ultra Chrome then you did an excellent job, as I find that type unworkable for most  of my foiling jobs. Too stiff.  Yours looks great!
