I am just at the point of installing the DuVall windshield that doesn't come close to fitting the cowl.  It may be salvagable by re-shaping the frame, or I'll modify the cut down windshield that is included in the kit.  Very disappointing as the DuVall windshield was the selling point of this kit for my 32 Ford collection.

There must be something going on here, as on the kit I build the windshield frame fit just about perfectly.   The kit I built came early in the production run; I wonder if something or some process changed as more kits were produced.   Guess I better open up the second kit which I bought several months into the production and see how that windshield frame fits...TB

There have been quite a few builders here mentioning their "duvall" frames have varying degrees of warpage. I experienced this one one of the two kits I've purchased. Is this what you're talking about @Bearcat ? If so, reach out to Revell customer service for a replacement.

I made mine work by drilling and pinning it to the cowl, but that operation is tricky on a fragile part, and depending on the amount of warpage may not fix the problem.

I purchased another kit at the store (Model Cave in Ypsilanti, MI) today; will unbox and take a look.....TB

Tim, I  looked at a couple of my 29 roadsters (that have a known problem) with the windshield frame being warped. I found that location where they were packed in the box seemed to be the difference.  Maybe it is something to it or just nothing.  Like all old people I don't recall the location of the 2 that were warped compared to the ones that were not.

Thanks Andy.  I have two unpacked kits to look at and I will take note of this as I look....TB

Tim, how were your Windshield Frames?

Any Warpage?

Louvered hood now available for this kit in resin.

Four rows of louvers, kept the center hinge.

Also fits the other Revell 32 Fords. PM or email if you'd like to include one in your next build. Lookabillj@gmail.com

Alan...sorry for the delay in responding....been kinda busy at the Boyd ranch these last few days.   Anyway, I checked both of my more recent kit purchases....one at the NNL Detroit (IIRC) and the other at a retail outlet a few weeks ago (IIRC); both have DuVall windshield frames that are fine - no misshaped or warped appearance....TIM
