THEFATTDAWG Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 i am building a garage diorama any ideas on how to do a grage floor? i would like some cracks and grease spots any ideas?
cobraman Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 I have used cardboard (the kind on the back of note paper ). Painted with gray primer. Then I used a fine line marker for the seams and then also to free hand the cracks. Looks ok. Better ways I am sure and someone here will come along with a better idea.
NOBLNG Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 (edited) This is craft paper from Michaels. No texture, but it looks ok in photos. Edited April 25, 2022 by NOBLNG 1
Fantom Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Last time I simulated concrete for a diorama, I used plexiglass. I used a scribe to carve in cracks , seams , etc, and painted it a tan/beige/grayish color and used thinned Tamiya smoke for oil stains. I’m sure others have better methods but that worked for me.
